the Sudanese army announced, in continuation of the gains it has achieved over the past weeks, the progress of its forces and their control over central areas in central Khartoum, such as Al-Nahda and Al-Ashara neighborhoods south of central Khartoum.
It indicated that it had reached the Khartoum 3 area, and was based on Al-Sahafa Street, which connects the city center to the presidential palace.
It also confirmed that it had made new progress on the East Nile axis, where its forces had approached Al-Manshiya Bridge, which links the East Nile area to the city of Khartoum, where battles intensified around this important bridge, which has come under army fire.
While its forces are working to advance to establish complete control over it from the eastern side of the Blue Nile.
Also, the forces announced the destruction of the defenses of the Rapid Support Forces on Al-Sahafa Zalat Street leading to central Khartoum, confirming the destruction of their sites in Al-Joudah Hospital in the Al-Daym suburb, Al-Gali Station, and the Khartoum Model School.
As for the Northern State, the 19th Division of the army confronted a squadron of drones targeting the division headquarters, the city airport, and the Merowe Barrier and the power station.
If the army takes control of the Manshiya Bridge, this means regaining control over the entire East Nile locality. It also indicates that the battles have subsided inside Khartoum only, and that the Rapid Support Forces have lost East Nile, one of its important strongholds.
