Sports Minister Congratulates "Mustafa Assal" after Topping World Squash Rankings

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, said: "The Egyptian squash dominates the top of the world rankings of the game at the levels of men's and women's competitions since the emergence of squash and the presence of Egyptian talents who made the difference through the succession of generations to become Egypt the global leader in squash."

The player Mustafa Assal won the title of the Houston Open Squash Championship held in Texas, USA, from January 10 to 15, after defeating his counterpart Mohamed El-Shorbagy, in the final match that brought them together on Sunday evening, and ended with three clean rounds.

The Minister of Sports congratulated the player "Mustafa Assal" on his consecutive victories in various tournaments, to achieve new achievements in the Egyptian sports record, wishing the player continued success in the coming dates, and the sustainability of brilliance and excellence in the various tournaments in which he participates.
