Executive Director of Al Ahly club Mohamed Morgan received Saturday the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi along with the President of the International Handball Federation (IHF) Hassan Mostafa at the Red Castle's headquarters.
Morgan said to Al Ahly official website: "The visit aimed at following up the implementation of the precautionary and preventive measures inside the club, which were approved by the ministry and have already been under implementation since the corona crisis evolved,"
He added that "all preventive and precautionary measures are implemented, in order to ensure the safety of members, workers, and sports teams members,"
He elaborated that precautionary steps are followed which include complete sterilization of all surfaces and various devices inside the club, whether in gyms or dressing rooms and bathrooms, along with maintaining the cleanliness of all facilities and inpiduals, through the presence of places to sterilize hands during entry to the club, and the gathering places; such as swimming pools, gyms and outlets.
The Executive Director indicated that the precautionary measures also include holding awareness campaigns inside the club, by holding medical seminars in open areas, and distributing awareness posters through the club's medical committee, as well as seeking help from doctors of different teams in educating the technical devices and players, with the provision of a temperature measuring device.
