Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister (FM) Mohamed Tharwat Selim has been appointed as Egyptian Chargé d'Affairs to Tripoli, Libya, according to a number of diplomatic sources.
He is expected to arrive there today's evening, accompanied by an official delegation.

Moreover, sources added that Egypt will appoint Ambassador Tamer Moustafa as Egypt's Consul General in Benghazi, after Eid al-Fetr.
