Sony has announced the release date for untitled Sony/Marvel movies: November 8, 2024, and June 27, 2025. Both will have access to Imax screens. Let the speculation begin — could be Venom 3, or could be Tom Holland’s next Spider-Man movie.

Currently, there is nothing against a Sony/Marvel movie on the November 8 date. Universal has an untitled event movie on November 1 and Warner Bros an untitled tentpole on November 15, with Paramount’s "Gladiator 2" on November 22.

Sony will go head-to-head with an untitled Blumhouse movie on June 27, 2025, and the new Disney live-action take on Moana.

Holland has recently provided an update on the development of his fourth outing as the web-slinging superhero within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

At the premiere of his new Apple TV+ show “The Crowded Room” in New York City, Holland told Variety that though he can’t share too much, he has “been having meetings” about the next chapter in the Marvel franchise.

However, those conversations have been put on hold for now due to the ongoing writers' strike.

“I can’t talk about that, but I can say that we have been having meetings. We’ve put the meetings on pause in solidarity with the writers,” Holland said.

“There’s been multiple conversations had, but at this point it’s very, very early stages,” he added.

Sony is killing it at the box office this summer with the animated sequel "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse", which has racked up $412 million and counting worldwide.
