President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi expressed his great happiness with his first visit to Turkey and his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During a joint press conference, with his Turkish counterpart, Sisi also emphasized that Egypt and Turkey share a firm stance on the need for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to Israeli aggression in the West Bank.
Additionally, he stated that the meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council marks a significant step forward in the relations between the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that, both presidents witnessed the signing of several memoranda of understanding between their governments in various fields of cooperation.
Earlier today, Wednesday, President El-Sisi arrived in Ankara for an official visit to Turkey, in response to an invitation from Erdogan, who personally welcomed him at the airport.
