Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, in a meeting today with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and International Cooperation Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, has underscored the country's commitment to enhancing international cooperation through economic diplomacy.
Presidential spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy reported that the meeting focused on national efforts to strengthen both multilateral and bilateral frameworks of international cooperation. This includes initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering Egypt's private sector. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat highlighted that, in the past four years, the private sector has received facilitated financing totaling $10.3 billion in the form of financial and technical support.
President Sisi was briefed on the progress of the "Hafez" platform, a pioneering integrated platform designed to connect development partners with the private sector. It encompasses a range of services provided by development partners, including financial support, technical assistance, investments, concessional development financing, and training and capacity building programs.
This meeting reflects Egypt’s strategic focus on leveraging international cooperation for national development. By prioritizing economic diplomacy, Egypt aims to create a conducive environment for the private sector, facilitating its access to essential resources and global partnerships.
