On Wednesday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received the credentials of 15 ambassadors to Egypt, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi.
El-Sisi welcomed the new diplomats, stressing Egypt's keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with their countries in all fields, within a firm framework of mutual respect, common interests.
The president also wished them success in their diplomatic mission in Cairo.
The new ambassadors represent: Uruguay, Portugal, Holy See of the Vatican, Israel, Korea, Bangladesh, Sudan, Ethiopia, Hungary, the European Union, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Kazakhstan and Lesotho.
In December 2019, nine new ambassadors from the United States of America, Angola, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Belarus, Rwanda, Algeria, Sri Lanka, and Cyprus submitted their credentials to Sisi.
In September, the Egyptian president received accreditations of ten new ambassadors from Ukraine, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, China, Germany, Estonia, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Singapore.
