Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said he was pleased at meeting Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge and son of the British Crown Prince, and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Sisi convened with Johnson and William on the sideline of the UK-Africa Investment Summit 2020 in London.
"Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Prince William, son of the British Crown Prince and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the sideline of the UK-Africa Investment Summit 2020 in London, which discussed means of boosting bilateral cooperation and strengthening the long-standing relations between both countries," Sisi said on his official social media accounts.

During the Egyptian leader meeting with Johnson, the UK Prime Minister welcomed stressed his country’s keenness to enhance bilateral relations with Egypt, especially in the economic and trade fields, as Britain is counting on Egypt’s pivotal and active role in preserving the stability of the Middle East and Africa.
Johnson also praised President Sisi’s strategic vision in the field of development, which achieved clear and tangible results, especially in the economic and social fields, in addition to the establishment of major national projects, stressing Britain’s support for the ambitious measures undertaken by Egypt to achieve comprehensive development.
On the other hand, Prince William expressed Britain’s appreciation to Egypt, praising the economic reform steps and the major national projects that are being implemented.
He also stressed Britain’s keenness to support Egypt's development efforts in all fields through exchanging experiences and joint investment.
Prince William also praised Egypt's pivotal role in preserving the stability in the Middle East and Africa.
