Sisi Offers Condolences over Passing of UAE's Sheikh Khalifa

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi offered Saturday his condolences on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

"Sisi headed today morning (Saturday) to Abu Dhabi to offer his condolences over the death of UAE's President who passed away on Friday," said Rady.

Sisi declared Friday three days of mourning in Egypt following the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, who passed away today, Friday.

The official three-day period of national mourning starts today, Friday, May 13, 2022, and ends at sunset on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
