President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has issued a decision to pardon the remainder of prison sentences for several individuals, following the completion of all constitutional and legal procedures.
This move comes in response to an appeal by the National Council for Human Rights, which had called for clemency in specific cases. Those granted presidential pardons are:
