President Abdel Fattah El Sisi lauded efforts exerted by the United Arab Emirates and the United States so that Israel will stop annexation plans of Palestinian lands.
"I followed with interest and appreciation the joint US-UAE-Israel statement on halting the Israeli annexation of Palestinian territories and taking steps that would establish peace in the Middle East," Sisi wrote on his social media accounts.
He added that the UAE-Israeli agreement may bring peace in the Middle East.
"I also hail the efforts of those in charge of this agreement in order to achieve prosperity and stability for our region."
