Sisi Expresses Egypt's Aspiration to Maximize Investments with Azerbaijan

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi expressed Egypt's aspiration to maximize the volume of joint investments with Azerbaijan, whether at the level of the government or the private sector, explaining tat the state aimed at simplifying and facilitating administrative procedures for investments within an integrated framework of the modern legislative climate.

The president pointed to the varoius investment opportunities availble in the country, whether in light of the giant development projects being implemented, or through the Sovereign Fund, new and renewable energy projects, and the economic zone of the Suez Canal, which includes major industrial and logistical areas. 

The official spokesman for the Presidency Bassam Radi stated that President Sisi started his visit on Friday to Azerbaijan by meeting with senior economic figures, businessmen and heads of major companies in Azerbaijan, with the participation of a number of Azeri ministers and senior officials and representatives of various concerned government agencies, led by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.

On their part, the Azeri officials expressed their appreciation for President El-Sisi's keenness to meet with them personally, which supports the strengthening of cross-border joint cooperation between the two countries, stressing their aspiration to maximize cooperation and joint investments with Egypt in light of the political will and personal follow-up of the President.
