Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized his country's ongoing efforts to maintain stability in Sudan, stating that Egypt has significantly contributed to safeguarding its neighbor's security. Extra News broadcasted his remarks during a recent event, where he also reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to the unity and stability of Somalia.

During the event, President El-Sisi stressed that the cohesion of the state remains the only guarantee for overcoming any challenges, highlighting the importance of national unity in both Egypt and its neighboring countries.

El-Sisi further underscored the crucial role of media and entertainment in fostering positive societal change, asserting that these platforms can be more effective in delivering constructive messages than closed-door dialogues. He encouraged the media to contribute to building a resilient society by promoting values and stability.

Addressing Egypt's progress in water management, the president shared that Egypt is poised to become one of the first countries to treat water using the latest technological advancements. This development is part of a broader national strategy to safeguard the country’s water resources in the face of mounting environmental challenges.

El-Sisi also raised concerns over escalating tensions in the region, which he said pose significant threats to international peace and security. He described the situation as "deeply concerning" and noted that the instability is already affecting Egypt's economy, particularly in terms of reduced revenues from the Suez Canal. He revealed that Egypt has lost between 50% and 60% of the canal’s income due to the ongoing regional crisis.

Despite these challenges, El-Sisi reassured the Egyptian people that the country remains resilient. "I want to assure you that we are fine as long as we remain steadfast and alert," he said, urging citizens to stay vigilant and united in the face of adversity.

President El-Sisi also addressed the growing wave of misinformation targeting Egypt. He noted the widespread nature of recent false claims and rumors, emphasizing that they are baseless and intended to undermine the country. He urged Egyptians not to be swayed by such disinformation campaigns, reaffirming his administration's commitment to transparency and truth.

The president delivered these remarks during a graduation ceremony for the 2024 class of police cadets at the Police Academy. He offered words of advice to the new graduates, urging them to uphold the values they have learned and to foster strong relationships with the Egyptian public. "Engage with the people through the values you have learned and work to strengthen your bond with Egyptians," El-Sisi said.

As Egypt faces both regional and domestic challenges, El-Sisi's message focused on unity, resilience, and the importance of strong institutions to weather the storm. His administration remains committed to maintaining balance and stability while navigating a complex and volatile geopolitical landscape.
