Sisi: Egypt Continues Efforts to Support Stability in Sudan and Somalia

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized his country's ongoing efforts to maintain stability in Sudan, stating that Egypt has significantly contributed to safeguarding its neighbor's security. He revealed that Egypt has lost between 50% and 60% of the canal’s income due to the ongoing regional crisis.

The president delivered these remarks during a graduation ceremony for the 2024 class of police cadets at the Police Academy. He offered words of advice to the new graduates, urging them to uphold the values they have learned and to foster strong relationships with the Egyptian public. "Engage with the people through the values you have learned and work to strengthen your bond with Egyptians," El-Sisi said.
