During his word, El Sisi asserted that Egypt did not bow to any kind of pressure when it took steps towards human rights and non-discrimination.

The president said that persity and differences among people and countries are normal, expressing fear that color or the same political stripes worldwide could be seen as a kind of “arrogance by practice”.

He noted that some of the coronavirus precautionary measures are taken by western countries were against the principles and concepts that those countries perceive as being within human rights, such as freedom of movement and freedom of vaccination.

President Sisi explained that the world health crisis revealed that human rights are only limited to freedom of expression and political practice.
