Egyptian archery champions set new records for the first time at the Shooting World Cup.
Bowler Mohamed Hamdi got 628.2 points in the rifle competition individual men's air pressure and this number is considered a new Egyptian, Arab and African number, and one point prevented him from entering the finals and competing for a medal, as the last shooter in the finals got a number 629.2 and was one point difference enough to enter the finals and compete for a medal.
The under-16 shooter Rimas Walid, in her first participation in the Women's Shooting World Cup, received a number of 621.5 points, which is a new record for young women.
