For the first time since 2019, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz will visit the Japanese capital, Tokyo, Monday, on a three-day visit, to hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, and to meet Emperor Naruhito.
Kishida will discuss a “wide range” of issues with his royal guest regarding the Middle East and the international arena.
Saudi-Japanese relations, which focus on energy and trade, are strong and free of any complications.
As the world's fourth-largest economy, Tokyo is crucial to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, while Riyadh is important to Japan's energy security.
