Salah: Nothing is stopping our national team from reaching the finals

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah stated on the Russian website Sports Express that the national team is currently in peak physical condition due to the constant activity of it's players throughout last year.

Salah insisted that the national team's goal in the tournament is to reach the late stages and that nothing is stopping them from reaching the semi finals.

"The strength of the Egyptian team lies in the fact that we are a unit, we love each other, we played together in youth teams. We have a youthful team with experienced players like Essam Al Hadari."

When he was asked about his expectations about how Egypt's campaign will go, he laughed and answered that "Egypt will be winning the final".

Salah further stated that the national team has their hand full with 3 tough opponents in their group and they'll have to do all they can in order to beat them. Salah ended the discussion by stating that "he can't wait for the tournament to start".
