Salah Nets as Liverpool Beat Newcastle United 3-1

The iconic Egyptian star Mohamed Salah netted his fourth Premier League goal this season as Liverpool defeated Newcastle United 3-1 at Anfield on Saturday. The Reds won their 14th successive Premier League match.

Newcastle left-back Willems had given the early lead to his side after only seven minutes when he fired a stunning rising strike across a helpless Adrian.

Liverpool came from behind thanks to Sadio Mane, who scored the equalizer when the Senegalese curled an unstoppable shot into the top right in the 28th minute.

Five minutes before the end of the first half, Mane scored his second goal, putting his side ahead in the 40th minute.

The Reds' star Mo Salah sealed the victory in the 72nd minute when he clipped the ball into the bottom right scoring a lovely goal.

Liverpool now have fifteen points as they pulled off five victories in their first five Premier League rounds.

The UEFA Champions League winners made an ideal start to their Premier League campaign after winning the first four rounds of the league over Norwich City (4-1), Southampton (2-1), Arsenal (3-1), Burnley (3- 0).

On Thursday, Salah received the player of the month award with his team Liverpool for August as he has been enjoying a lovely start to the season scoring three goals.

It is worth mentioning that Liverpool's head coach Jürgen Klopp scooped the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August on Friday.
