Mohamed Salah has missed Liverpool's return to the Premier League action as the Reds held a goalless draw against Everton at Goodison park stadium.
Liverpool started the game so fiercely as early as after only ten minutes when Fabinho and Mane won back possession in the middle of the park. Mane made a pass to Takumi Minamino, who fired high and wide of the target.
In the 51st minute, Lverpool made a brilliant play between Matip, Naby and Firmino, but Keita ended the move with a volley that strayed just wide.
The most serious chance was in the 80th minute, when Alisson made a brilliant save to Dominic Calvert-Lewin's close range flick, but the ball fell to Tom Davies whose first time attempt rolls against the post and away.
If Manchester City dropped points at home to Burnley on Monday, Liverpool can still win the title on Wednesday against Crystal Palace at Anfield.
