Salah Leads Liverpool to a 3-1 Victory Over Arsenal

Mohamed Salah guided Liverpool to a well deserved technical 3-1 victory over Arsenal at the Anfield stadium on Saturday, scoring two goals in the process. The victory cements the Red's place at the top of the Premier League after defeating second place gunners.

Liverpool started the match with a fury of attacks against the gunners but proved to transfer their attacks into a goal early on. Salah was marked by 3 Arsenal defenders and wasn't given the chance to move early on in the match.

Joel Matip opened the scoring for the Reds in the 41st minute of the first half after a converting a corner into a well placed header. Liverpool from then wasn't confessed with only one goal as they kept pressuring Arsenal until the remaining seconds of the half.

Second half opened with Liverpool further pressuring Arsenal into their midfield until Mohamed Salah was able to win a penalty in the early minutes after David Luiz pulled his shirt inside the box. Salah then scored the penalty in the 49th minute.

Liverpool's third goal could probably contend with the all time great goals of the Premier League, as Salah sprinted towards the right wing dribbling past several players before swiftly placing the goal into the net of the keeper.

Arsenal scored their sole goal in the 85th minute when Di Pascua made good use of a defensive error placing it past Liverpool's goal keeper.
