Salah Has No Reason To Leave Anfield- Nicol

Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has assured that the Reds' star Mohamed Salah should stay at Anfield.

Nicol said that there is no chance for Liverpool to let the iconic Egyptian star leaving the Reds, joining Juventus.

This came after some reports emerged claiming that the Italian club had eyed Salah, sending scouts to watch last Sunday’s Premier League encounter against Tottenham at Anfield.

It is not the first time for such reports claiming that Salah could leave the Reds, as he had previously been linked with a move to Real Madrid after his first season at Anfield.

On his part, Nicol refused Salah's leave, saying, " Why would he want to go to Juventus? Could someone tell me."

He also added that Salah would have no reason to leave Anfield as Liverpool won the Previous Champions League edition, and they are favorites to scoop this Premier League title.

“No disrespect to Juventus, but right now he’s playing with the European champions, who are favorites to win the Premier League. Why would he go there?” the 57-year old player said to ESPN FC network, according Daily Express

Noteworthy, Liverpool now attain the Premier league leadership twenty-eight points, as they are set to clash versus Aston Villa on Saturday at 17:00 CLT.
