Veteran Egyptian actress-singer Safaa Abo El Saoud has signed on to present the radio series "Bushra".
The series is scripted by Mohamed Ismail Amin and directed by Moustafa Mounir. It is set to broadcast on the " 90 90" Radio Station during the holy month of Ramadan.
Abo El Saoud made her long-anticipated comeback last Ramadan with three Radio shows “Yomyat SafSaf”, "Hamada Qalb el-Asad", and "Community Men Fadlak".
Born on October 9, 1950, the iconic singer is one of the most established in Egyptian history as she left a clear mark both on television and on the radio.
The iconic singer graduated from the Conservatoire Institute in 1967. She began her career in children's beloved radio program "Baba Sharo".
Abo El Saoud shifted her career to the theater and starred in many theatrical projects such as "Mosaqua fi al hay el shabby" (Music in the Eastern Neighborhood), "The Harafish", and "Ant illy Qatalat" (You Killed Eleiwa).
She is also known for her roles in films like "Bamba Kashar", "El Motaa Wil Azab" and "Shayeten Ela El Abad". Saoud also made children's songs, one of her most famous songs is "Ahlan bil Eid" (Welcome to Eid), which is played annually on Eid.
