Russia's external debt decreased by about $68.2 billion, or 17.7%, in 2023, reaching $316.8 billion by the end of the year, according to what the annual report of the Central Bank of Russia showed, Friday.
The report stated that the number of credit institutions with the participation of non-residents decreased last year to 96 institutions from 108 institutions.
On Friday, the Bank of Russia submitted the annual report for 2023 to the State Duma.
