Andrei Yermak, chief of staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that his country has lost 35% of its gross domestic product (GDP) and 200 factories since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
"Because of the hostilities, 5 million people left the country, and the war took 35% of Ukraine's gross domestic product. We lost more than 200 factories," Yermak said, noting that the country's direct losses have already exceeded. $600 billion in tot.
And the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Igor Diadora, announced, earlier, that by the end of the year the losses of Ukraine's gross domestic product will reach about 50%.
