A delegation of Russian graduate students wrapped up a month-long visit to Egypt by offering a series of free lectures to Egyptian students studying the Russian language.

The lectures took place at the Russian Cultural Centre in Cairo and various Egyptian universities.

The delegation, comprising Natalia Soshina, Aleksandr Elin, and Natiia Dzadzamiia from the State Pedagogical University and Moscow State Linguistic University, expressed gratitude to the Russian House in Cairo for facilitating the opportunity to teach Russian to Egyptian students, who displayed a keen interest and remarkable aptitude in the language, harboring broad ambitions to utilize Russian in their future endeavors.

Members of the Russian delegation remarked, "We didn't miss the chance to visit Cairo's unique historical and religious landmarks, and were delighted by the great interest Egyptians showed towards Russian culture."

The graduate students also organized Russian language lectures for Russian children belonging to the Russian community residing in Egypt.

Murad Gatin emphasized that the visit was mutually beneficial for both the Egyptian and Russian sides.

It served as a training experience for Russian students, an opportunity for Egyptian students to study Russian with specialists from Russia, and a chance for Russian children in Egypt to reinforce their native language studies, bridging connections with their homeland's language and culture.
