The Russian delegation participating in peace talks with Ukraine arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday.
A Russian source told the Russian news agency TASS that the Russian delegation is headed by Vladimir Medinsky, aide to the Russian president.
It is worth noting that on May 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in remarks to reporters at the Kremlin, suggested that the Kyiv authorities resume direct talks, which Ukraine suspended in 2022, without preconditions.
He also proposed launching a dialogue on May 15 in Istanbul.
