Murad Gatin, Director of Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, and Mostafa El-Sheikh, President of the Egyptian Caricature Association, will open "The Harvest", an exhibition at the Russian Cultural Center in Dokki on February 11, at 6:00 PM.
The event gathers the most significant Egyptian caricatures from 2024. It runs for three days, offering a space for artistic expression and social commentary through caricature.
Gatin welcomed the continued cooperation with the Egyptian Caricature Association, noting the center’s role in presenting Egyptian artists and their work. "Egyptian caricature reflects the pulse of society, and we are glad to provide a platform for these artists," he said.
Dr. Mostafa El-Sheikh thanked the Russian Cultural Center for supporting Egyptian caricaturists and expressed hopes for more projects in 2025.
Sherif Gad, Director of Cultural Activities at the center, spoke about the long-standing exchange between Egyptian and Russian artists. Many from both countries take part in exhibitions in Cairo and Moscow, strengthening cultural connections.
