The Russian army delivered more than 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the Kharkiv region and provided medical assistance and medicine to civilians.
"The Russian military has delivered more than 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Kharkiv region in Ukraine," Russian defense ministry said in a statement.
Russian military doctors also carried out medical examinations and provided the necessary assistance to civilians, the statement noted, adding that medicines and necessary medical supplies were delivered to village hospitals in the Kharkiv region.
It is worth mentioning that, the Russian-Ukrainian war has entered its second month as thousands of soldiers from both sides have been killed and millions have been displaced from the Ukrainian side since the start of Russian operations in Ukrainian territory on February 24.
Several countries have imposed significant economic sanctions on Moscow, while Russia has responded by imposing personal sanctions on a number of American and Canadian leaders.
