Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko announced that her country has boosted its food exports to friendly countries by 25% on an annual basis in 2022.

Abramchenko told "Sputnik" news agency today, Saturday, that Russia's ability to boost exports by this percentage came despite some technical difficulties due to Western sanctions.

She added that Russia's food exports to friendly countries have increased by 25% in 2022, regardless of all difficulties," noting that her country supplies food products to 150 countries and has not encountered any problems with its customers.

The official pointed to the absence of any politicization related to the possibility of unwillingness to buy Russian goods, hoping that her country's exports will develop in the same way in 2023.
