Cristiano Ronaldo set new records after he netted a stunning hat-trick in Portugal's 6-0 Victory Vs. Lithuania during Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Ronaldo's side cemented their lucks in qualifying for the Euro 2020, to be held in twelve cities in a dozen European countries from June 12 till July 12.

The 34-year old player netted his 55th hat-trick against Lithuania when he opened the scoring after he converted from a penalty spot, before netting the second through a powerful shot. The Portuguese player scored the sixth goal of the match, netting his 55th hat-trick.

The 34-year-old player cemented his position as Euro qualifiers' all-time top scorers, scoring thirty goals in 34 games.

He came close to score a century for his country to become the second player in the world to do so after Iran’s Ali Daei as he scored ninety-eight goals till now.

Ronaldo, whose hat-trick was the 55th of his career and ninth for Portugal, beat Lionel Messi's record, who scored 52 hat-tricks.

The 34-year-old scored hat-tricks in twelve different countries; Lithuania, Portugal, Italy, Russia, Spain, Japan, Armenia, Sweden, Turkey, Northern Ireland, The Netherlands, and England.

After his recent 9th hat-trick with his country, the Juventus' star managed to net ten goals during his last five clashes with his national team.

The European champions will clash against Luxembourg on Sunday as they need to secure the victory to book a place at the finals. Portugal now ranks second with fourteen points, while Serbia came third with thirteen points after they defeated Luxembourg 3-2.
