Cristiano Ronaldo produced a super hat-trick as Portugal thumped Lithuania 5-1 in Euro 2020 qualifying on Tuesday.

Ronaldo had put his side ahead after only seven minutes when he converted from a penalty with a right-foot shot.

Twenty minutes later, Lithuanian's left back Vytautas Andriuškevičius equalized the scoring through a header from the centre of the box.

Ronaldo came into action again, putting his side ahead after he fired a right-foot shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner in the 61st minute.

Juventus' star resumed his impressive performance when he managed to add the third goal in the 65th minute after he unleashed a right-foot shot from a close range.

The former Real Madrid star netted his super hat-trick in the 76th minute, before William Carvalho added the fifth to seal the victory in the injury time.

The 34-year-old super hat-trick is the eighth international one as he scored four against Andorra in 2016.

He became the first European player to score 93 international goals during his 160 appearances with his national team.
