According to the British newspaper The Athletic, the club’s owners held an emergency meeting this week in Switzerland to discuss a potential sale.
Attendees included co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, an undisclosed member of the Glazer family, and Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada.
The situation at Manchester United improved last week following their victory over Sunderland, easing pressure on head coach Ruben Amorim.
However, the Old Trafford management remains aware of fan frustration over his continued tenure despite the team’s declining results.
Currently, Manchester United sits in 10th place in the English Premier League standings with 10 points.
