Real Madrid Fight Back to Hold Brugge 2-2

Real Madrid avoided another European defeat after holding a 2-2 draw against Club Brugge in the Uefa Champions League.

The Whites went down with 2 goals at half time, before fighting back to hold the Belgians club at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Brugge striker Emmanuel Bonaventure shocked the iconic Bernabeu ground after only nine minutes after receiving an excellent cross. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) proved the goal.

Dennis silenced the Bernabeu ground for the second time after forty minutes, when he received a perfect pass, putting him through a one-on-one position to net the shocking second goal.

Sergio Ramos' 55-minute goal revived the Whites' hope in the game after he planted a striking header into the net. The goal was canceled by the referee because of an offside, before being awarded by the VAR.

Casemiro received a perfect cross from Toni Kroos, planting the ball with a strong header into the net to earn the 13-time Champions League winners in the 86th minute.

Real Madrid made the worst start to the Champions League after suffering a 3-0 defeat by PSG in the first round of the group stage.
