Ahmed Yasser Rayan shined in his debut match with Cleopatra FC as he snatched an important point against the Arab Contractors. The match was held at the Othman Ahmed Othman Stadium in Jabal Al Akhdar in the sixth round of the Egypt Premier League competition.

Ten minutes into the match, and the referee, Ahmed Gamal, awarded a penalty in favor of Ahmed Rayan after he was fouled by Faruqa Noureddine.

After 3 minutes, the referee returned from reading the video technology to cancel his decision and withdraw from the penalty kick.

In the 31st minute, and through a mistake by Mohamed Hassan in the pass in the middle of the field, Tunisian Seif El Din Jaziri penetrated into the Cleopatra FC penalty area and sent a cross to Colombian Louis Edward, who easily scored the first goal of the match

In the second half, Haitham Shaaban made offensive changes, engaging Shadi Hussein and Sherif Dabo to activate the attack.

In the 57th minute, Mohamed Hamdi Zaki scored the second goal for the Arab Contractors but was canceled due to the offside of Al-Jaziri, who sent the cross, which was confirmed by the video technology.

The equalizer came in the 77th minute with a header from Rayan, who left unmarked after following Ahmed Ufa's header, signaling a tie.

The last minutes witnessed a nervous tension from the players of the two teams, and Cleopatra FC defender Khaled Sobhi was sent off after hitting Mohammed Salem without a ball.
