Christie’s Auction Company is auctioning off more than 2,400 rare NASA photos, which is set to take place online from Nov. 6-20.
The collection is entitled “Voyage To Another World: The Victor Martin-Malburet Photograph Collection,” and features iconic photos that were not released by NASA at the time.
In a press release, the company described the photos as the "most comprehensive private collection of NASA photographs ever presented at auction,".
The collection features a rare photograph of U.S. astronaut Neil Armstrong, during the Apollo 11 mission when he became the first person to step foot on the surface of the moon seems to be the most popular item, as well as a selfie photo of Buzz Aldrin taken during the 1965 Gemini XII mission, which is considered to be the first space selfie.
Other items up for auction include Apollo missions in the 1960s and 1970s and photos of the Red Planet.
Christie's estimated the photos price to range from £800 to £30,000 ($1056.82 to $39,630.75).
