Egyptian actress Rania Youssef is set to participate in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon with the TV series "Jareemat Montasaf Allil".
Youssef portraying the role of bellydancer Riri, the mother of university student Maysoon, played by Mayar El Ghity.
The cast also includes Afaf Shoaib, Salah Abdallah, Ahmed Abdelaziz, Mohamed Soliman, Malak Koura, Mohamed Ezz, and more.
It is an action-thriller genre directed by Essam Shaaban and focuses on murder of two university students in the residence of one of the victims.
The series also sheds light on higher education and its conflicts as well as the psychological problems and crises of the new generation.
Principal photography is underway.
Youssef, born on December 1, 1973, worked as a model, before her acting career. She made her acting debut in the 1993 TV series "Mermaid".
