Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan has been excluded from performing at the opening ceremony of the Egyptian Super Cup.

Zamalek are set to clash against arch-rivals Al Ahly in the Egyptian Super Cup in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday.

The Red Devils will enter the game as the Egyptian Premier League winners, while the White Knights will take part in the Super Cup as Egypt's Cup champions.

Former Al Ahly forward Emad Moteab said on his official Facebook page that the Organizing Committee of the Super Cup decided to exclude Ramadan from preforming at the pre-match ceremony.

The Committee has not announced the decision yet, but the 31-year-old actor deleted a post from his official Instagram page, in which he promoted for the ceremony.

This came after the Egyptian actor stirred conservatory during the last period following his ongoing crisis with the Egyptian pilot Ashraf Aboul Yosr.

Yosr was banned from flying for life after he appeared in a video alongside Ramadan.

The video showed the Egyptian star flying a jet en route to Riyadh.

On October 14, 2019, the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority had confirmed the legitimacy of a video clip in which Ramadan was seen flying a plane.
