Qatar has temporarily halted all air traffic over its territory as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday.

In an official statement, Qatari authorities confirmed the suspension of flight operations within the country's airspace, citing heightened regional developments. The move is part of a broader set of precautionary steps being implemented in response to escalating tensions across the Middle East.

The Ministry affirmed that national authorities are closely monitoring the situation and continuously assessing any developments in coordination with regional and international partners. Updates will be communicated to the public through official government channels.

Qatar reiterated that the safety and security of everyone within its borders remain a top priority. Officials emphasized that the government is fully prepared to take all necessary measures to safeguard public welfare as the situation evolves.

The temporary closure of Qatari airspace underscores growing instability in the region, following recent military escalations involving multiple states.

While no direct threat to Qatar has been reported, the government’s swift action reflects a cautious and proactive security stance aimed at preventing any potential fallout.
