On Saturday, Qatari Coastguards arrested a Bahraini Cruiser while fishing in the Qatari territorial waters, according to an official statement issued by the Qatari Ministery of Interior on Twitter.
The statement added that three persons were arrested: one of them is Bahraini while the others carry Asian passports.
The Qatari Coastguards found the cruiser nearby Fisht-El Dibel; 1.3 nautical miles inside the Qatari territorial waters.
The three men are to appear before the Qatari prosecutor for further investigations.
In the same context, Reuters reported that no Bahraini officials commented on the incident till now.
It is worthy to mention that Bahrain accused the Qatari coastguards of transgressing the international and regional agreements last month after the Qatari side seized two Bahraini boats inside the Qatari territorial waters.
