Midfielder Ibrahim Hassan secured his side's victory when he added the second goal in the 44th minute after he unleashed a shot past keeper Bunga.

Pyramids started the game so fiercely as early as after only one minute when John Antoy was so close to hitting Petrojet's net.

Petrojet's keeper brought into action when his save denied Islam Issa's shot.

Petrojet was so close to reviving their hopes in the game again through a penalty, which was saved by Pyramids' keeper El Mahdy Soliman.

Petrojet hit the post in the 65th minute when Ahmed Oka fired a shot from a free-kick.

Six minutes later, Traore was so close to adding his second goal during the game through an excellent header.

Zamalek snatched on Sunday a late goal against El-Ettihad at Ismailia stadium, booking a ticket to the final of the Egyptian cup.

Zamalek scored their winning goal of the match in the 112th minute after Mostafa Mohamed translated Shikabala’s corner cross into a goal.
