Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Wednesday that his country is ready to return to the initiative of exporting Ukraine’s grain if Moscow’s demands are responded completely notwithstanding this initiative becoming meaningless.

Putin added during a televised government meeting that Russia is mulling over the return to the grain initiative but he stressed that all Russia’s stipulations should be taken into account and her terms must be implemented without exception.

This week Russia has decided to terminate the initiative of Grain after months of slamming the original text.

Moscow pointed out that her exports of agricultural commodities and fertilizers were impeded by harsh sanctions.

Over the meeting, Putin indicated the importance of removing all obstacles that hinder Russian banks and financial institutions that serve exports of food and fertilizers from inclusion within the SWIFT system of international banking transactions.
