Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kyrgyzstan on Friday to participate in the Eurasian Economic Union summit.

It is expected that the leaders at the summit will discuss the formation of a common gas market, the establishment of an inter-departmental council in the energy sector, which will further deepen integration in the Eurasian Economic Union space, and develop a unified market for services.

As planned, the summit will also approve a full package of documents, while the main directions of the Federation's international activities for 2023 will be approved.

In addition to this meeting, Putin may also hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit. He will also hold  bilateral talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be the second this year, as the previous one was held under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan on May 27 via videoconference.
