The New York Post reported that truck drivers are refusing to deliver goods to stores in New York City in protest against the city court's decision against former President Donald Trump.
According to the newspaper, 95% of heavy truck drivers in the United States support Trump in the face of a New York court decision to fine him $355 million in his fraud case last week.
The newspaper pointed out that truck drivers announced the start of their protest against the court’s decision via social media, by one of the country’s famous drivers named Chicago Ray, who said that “as of February 19, many of his colleagues will stop delivering goods to the city.”
Ray pointed out that about 95% of heavy truck drivers in the United States support Trump, noting the difficulty of assessing the size of the next action taken by his colleagues at the present time and how many of them will join this step.
