The Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saafan has announced a four-day official paid holiday for private-sector workers to mark Eid al-Adha and the 23rd July revolution anniversary.
The decision will come into force starting Monday, July 19, until Thursday, July 22.
In a statement, Saafan added that companies have the right to ask employees to work during this period on job requirements, but are still legally obliged to pay double-time to those who work during a holiday.
