Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the two sides welcomed the progress witnessed in Egyptian-Austrian relations in various fields during the current stage, stressing their aspiration to build on this to strengthen bilateral relations in a strategic manner and in a way that achieves the interests of both countries.
They also stressed the necessity of continuing consultation on issues of common interest regionally and internationally .
