President Sisi Receives Iraqi Parliament Speaker

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Sunday, Iraqi Parliament speaker, Muhammad Al-Halbousi. 

The meeting was attended by Egypt Parliament Speaker Hanafi Jabali, and Iraqi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Al-Dulaimi. 

At the outset of the meeting, Sisi welcomed Iraqi Parliament speaker, asking to convey his greetings to his two brothers, President Abd al-Latif Rashid and Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani. 

He also stressed on the peculiarity of the Egyptian-Iraqi relations, and Egypt’s keenness to continue strengthening cooperation between both countries in all fields and at various official and popular levels, especially in light of the current momentum witnessed by the joint relations and the exchange of visits by senior officials of the two countries, whether at the bilateral level or within the tripartite cooperation mechanism with the sisterly Kingdom of Jordan.
