President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi recently met with John Christmann, CEO of the American oil and gas company Apache Corporation, along with the company's Executive Vice President and CFO. The meeting was also attended by Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Engineer Tarek El Molla.

According to the Presidential Spokesperson, the meeting focused on reviewing and discussing Apache’s activities in Egypt and their plans to expand and increase their operations. This meeting underscores the ongoing fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Apache in the areas of exploration, research, and production of oil and gas, aiming for the optimal utilization of Egypt's energy resources.

President Sisi commended Apache's achievements in Egypt over the past three decades, appreciating the company's plans to expand its operations following the highest global standards. He reaffirmed the state's commitment to enhancing and increasing investments in the energy sectors to meet Egypt’s growing needs.

Egypt's energy sector has long been a critical component of its economy, with significant investments from international companies like Apache Corporation. Apache, one of the largest investors in Egypt's oil and gas sector, has been operating in the country for over 30 years. Their operations have significantly contributed to the development of Egypt’s energy infrastructure and resource management.
