President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, joined Arab ambassadors and members of the diplomatic community in Cyprus for a festive dinner marking the first day of Eid al-Fitr, the religious holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world at the end of Ramadan.
In a statement posted on social media, President Christodoulides extended his warmest wishes to Muslims observing Eid, saying:
“Eid Mubarak! Delighted to celebrate the first day of Eid alongside the Arab Ambassadors in Cyprus at this festive dinner. To all observing, I extend heartfelt wishes for peace, joy, and prosperity.”
The event brought together ambassadors, diplomats, and community leaders to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2025, which marks the end of the Islamic holy month of fasting, Ramadan.
