Egyptian Presidency Spokesman Bassam Rady posted a video, on his official page on "Facebook", about Egypt’s Future Project for agricultural production to reclaim 500,000 feddans along Al-Dabaa Axis in the northwest direction of Egypt.
Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected the project last Friday.

Earlier, Rady said that "Egypt's future" project, which extends over an area of 500 thousand feddans, is part of the state’s strategy to maximize the potential productive opportunities in the field of land reclamation and agricultural production, to become a new addition to the series of mega national development projects that the state has been implementing in all fields across the Republic.
The project aims to provide high-quality agricultural products at reasonable prices to citizens and to bridge the gap in the local market between production and import and then provide foreign currency for the benefit of the state's national economy.
Thus, thousands of direct job opportunities and hundreds of thousands more indirectly will be provided for all categories of citizens thanks to the perse and numerous investment opportunities provided by the project with the participation of major specialized agricultural companies from the private sector.
The project is located along the El-Dabaa axis, one of the new roads that have been paved within the national road network.
The site was chosen due to the many geographical advantages it provides for its proximity to export ports, airports, industrial zones, and a number of main roads and axes, which facilitates transportation and access of agricultural products from the project lands to the rest of the republic.
